On 3-4 June, the SustaiNext project joined the EU Green Week 2025, whose theme was this year ‘Circular solutions for a competitive EU’.
This year’s Green Week explored how to place circularity at the centre of Europe’s economic transition. With its potential to drive sustainable competitiveness, reduce waste, increase strategic autonomy, and promote innovation, the circular economy was presented as a key solution to some of Europe’s most pressing challenges.
The project participated in the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) stand, which showcased circular bio-based solutions funded by the partnership. Representatives of Natac, SustaiNext’s coordinator, presented our bio-based solutions and products.
The conference included high-level discussions on a circular economy that boosts EU competitiveness and economic security while conserving our natural resources.
