SUSTAINEXT PROJECT LAUNCHES ITS 3D INTRODUCTORY – CONCEPTUAL VIDEO

SustaiNext project, the first flagship project funded by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) under the Horizon Europe programme that aims to revolutionise the botanical extracts industry, has launched its first official video.

This Introductory-Conceptual video aims to condense the essence of the project in a few minutes, its innovative approach, the objectives set and the added value it offers, both locally and at the European level, once its model is replicated. It also aims to highlight the growing relevance of bio-based industrial systems within the European decarbonisation strategy. The innovative concept of dynamic and analytical biorefinery proposed by the project and the new bio-based value chains it aims to develop are quite complex. Therefore, to ensure that the video has an impact on a general audience (and not just stakeholders and experts), a transparent and accessible language was adopted, always supported by concise and relatable concepts and data, and accompanied by an attractive audiovisual environment.

The SustaiNext project is deeply rooted in the territory. Both for the location of its flagship plant and for the new value chains it proposes, a rural region in south-west Spain is at the core of the project. This was one of the maxims considered when developing the video: giving the location the importance it deserves.

From the outset, the innovative nature of the project had to be reflected in terms of design through the type of 3D animation used: it had to be innovative, fresh and with the ability to capture the attention of viewers in such a competitive and demanding environment as social media. Likewise, the flagship plant had to be the focal point and common thread throughout the video, with a suggestive design that would make it stand out from the rest.

Once launched, this video will be incorporated into the different channels that make up the Communication and Dissemination strategy of the project as one of the most powerful and sophisticated tools available to the whole consortium.
