The SustaiNext project was present at the end of January at the stakeholders meeting organised by the European project OLEAF4VALUE in Madrid (Spain), in which representatives from Natac, BIOPLAT, CTAEX and FUNDECYT-PCTEX participated, both as speakers and as members of the Advisory Board.
Under the title ‘Challenges & Opportunities For Bio-based Products’, the different speakers have provided an ambitious overview of the Spanish and European bioeconomy sector, as well as its strengths and weaknesses.
Margarita de Gregorio, secretary general of BIOPLAT (leader of C&D Work Package), pointed out during her presentation the importance of Research and Innovation as tools to face the challenges of the sector and, in this sense, she mentioned the SustaiNext project as the example to follow.
Besides, a project roll-up was placed in the meeting room, and SustaiNext’s informative flyer was at the disposal of the attendees.
