Our project coordinator Natac has received the GMP (‘Good Manufacturing Practices’) quality certificate from the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), under the Ministry of Health.
“Having assessed the capacity of the personnel, facilities and equipment, as well as the documentation of the inspected company, it is concluded that Natac Biotech complies with the principles of the Good Manufacturing Practices for active substances of the European Union”, states the AEMPS.
The GMP certificate will allow SustaiNext project’s flagship plant in Hervás (Cáceres) to manufacture ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry based on medicinal plants, guaranteeing the quality and safety of the product.
“Achieving this quality seal represents a new milestone for our company. When we went public we included this certification in our guidance and we have achieved it”, says Antonio Delgado-Romero, Natac’s CEO.
